The Baur frida is a portable very low frequency true sine-wave test set for withstand testing and diagnostics on medium voltage cable systems. VLF allows a meaningful proof test of long XLPE and paper-insulated circuits without the mains-frequency plant that a power-frequency test would demand, making it practical for commissioning and routine maintenance. VeeTech is an authorised Baur service partner, supplying, calibrating, repairing and renting the frida platform and providing trained operators for site campaigns.
