The SM 1231 family provides high-resolution analog inputs in voltage and current, thermocouple and RTD variants, bringing process measurement directly into an S7-1200 station. Correct variant selection and scaling are what determine measurement quality, so the module is normally specified alongside the instrument loop schedule. VeeTech supplies these modules, configures and scales the channels, and can calibrate the connected instrumentation with ISO/IEC 17025 traceability.
